RainDrop

Privacy policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026 · Publisher: Eren Alp
Android application: com.litshot.raindrop

This policy explains how RainDrop handles information when you create rain effects, export videos, set a live wallpaper, purchase Pro, or contact support.

Your photos, videos and audio

RainDrop processes selected media on your device. The app uses Android’s photo picker and document picker to access the items you choose. It makes private local copies for editing, saves a local project draft, and stores exported videos and wallpaper copies. RainDrop does not upload your selected media to a developer server. Sharing an export sends it to the app you choose; that app’s privacy policy then applies.

You can replace or discard the saved project and delete exported videos using Android’s media tools. Unused imported copies are cleaned up after seven days when the app is opened; files referenced by the saved project are retained. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes private app data. Public exports may remain until you delete them. Android backup may retain app settings according to your device and Google account settings.

Advertising and privacy choices

The free app uses Google AdMob. Before requesting ads, RainDrop asks Google’s User Messaging Platform whether ads may be requested and presents a consent message where required by the configured privacy rules. Required advertising privacy choices are available under “Privacy and data.” AdMob may process identifiers, IP address, approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver, measure and protect advertising, depending on your choices and Google’s settings. Pro removes advertising.

Optional analytics and crash reports

Usage analytics and crash reporting are off by default. You can enable or disable them separately under “Privacy and data.” If enabled, Google Firebase Analytics can process app events, device and app information, and an app installation identifier. Firebase Crashlytics can process crash stack traces, device and app information, installation identifiers and diagnostic logs. Logs may contain technical file paths. These services help understand usage and fix failures. Turning off reporting stops future collection; it does not automatically erase reports already sent.

Purchases

Google Play processes Pro payments. RainDrop receives purchase status and purchase identifiers to verify entitlement and acknowledge completed purchases. The developer does not receive your payment card details. Pending payments do not unlock Pro until Google Play reports completion. Google Play’s billing and privacy terms apply.

Service providers and retention

Google provides advertising, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, Play billing, and related infrastructure. Information sent to those providers is handled under their retention settings and privacy terms and may be processed outside your country. RainDrop has no user account system or developer-hosted media library.

Your choices and requests

You can use the app’s privacy switches, advertising privacy choices when required, Android advertising controls, and local storage tools. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests concerning information available to the publisher, email alperen7030@gmail.com. Identify the app and explain your request; do not send sensitive media or payment card details. Requests involving Google-held information may also require Google’s account and privacy tools.

Children

RainDrop is not specifically designed for children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact the publisher. The app’s audience and advertising configuration in Google Play and AdMob must match how it is distributed.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current policy shows its effective date.
